I am thrilled to be working year-round at Cornerstone in the upcoming year! I will have more availability and flexibility! I will be offering 2 new classes during the weekdays.
The first class will be for preschoolers ages 3-5. We will use ponies to learn grooming, leading and basic care. Riding on large horses will be a part of the classes. Sometimes art and crafts will be a part of our time. The classes will be held from 9:30-11:00 once on a week on Wednesday mornings. We will meet for 6 weeks starting on September 21st and ending on October 26th. The cost for the session is $150.00. Limited space.
The second class will an Introduction to Horsemanship. It will be designed for homeschoolers who have little to no horse experience. Classes will be spent learning about general horse care, basic horse handling, natural horsemanship. This program doesn’t include riding except in the last class. The classes will be held once a week for 8 weeks on Thursday mornings from 9:30-11:00. The cost for this session is $200.00. Limited space.
I will also continue to offer some therapeutic horseback riding as well as equine therapy. Evening and day times will be offered.
I want to say how thankful I am for all of the support over the past 6 months while I fought cancer! I am scheduled to be done with all treatments in September and I ready for full throttle ahead!
