2023– That’s a wrap.
What a year! I have had hurt, death, joy, growth but overall, so much to be thankful for.
I lost my heart dog Louana in March. I just knew that God was going to save her but all the money spent and prayers sent up did not work.

While I was so mad at God-- He showed me grace and redeemed my heart. I have had more animals added to my life (and not always by choice) than ever!
I have had 3 cats join the farm---

a healthy colt! ---our own superman "Clark"!

2 bulldogs ; Luna and Lugnut!

AND Louana’s half-sister; Kalea!

Did I mention that my new pup Kalea was due on my birthday, and I picked her up on the day Louana was born. If that is not a sign from above, I don’t know what is!
I have had many other gifts;
a 30 year anniversary trip to Mexico.

I was able to travel and show my horse Waylon in 2 big shows.

I have continued to have clear cancer reports. I have another year with my kids and my granddaughter. My business has grown and I have met many wonderful clients. And....
I have HAIR!!!!
I FINALLY got the indoor arena up and covered in mid-November. That was a lesson in patience. Delays in surveys, bank loans, and deliveries drug the process out slower and slower. Miscommunication with builders and over budget costs made me question whether it was worth it. I look outside now and think how lucky I am to have a dry space to work in every day.

Don’t get me wrong-there has been much pain. Friends with cancer that is not going away, house problems (sewer/septic, foundation problems on and on!), teenager trials, horse health problems and other things I don’t write about to protect my loved ones. It has stretched my faith, my skills and my patience. I survived and kept doing it day by day.
As this year is now behind me, as I tell my clients– “Seek the good!” and I can say whole heartedly there has been much good.
So with a smile and skip in my step—I am ready for 2024!
